What The Fudge???

I watched the most disturbing programme on BBC4 last night….. Death of a WAG.

Now Im not talking about the likes of Coleen or Posh. Im talking about the wife of an Iranian Football player, Nasser Khani. A woman living the high life in Iran. An abundance of money, a famous husband and a young child.

What really got to me was that this owman was murdered in her own home…..by her husbands mistress! The whole programme casts the accused in a very harsh light. She is shown arguing with the judge, making inappropriate comments and “acting” like a drama queen. So naturally I assume she is guilty.

BUT the last few minutes show an anonymous man talking about the forensic evidence suggesting that the killer was not female and that the evidence did not support the accuseds’ “confession”.

What was really astonishing was that the football player, Nasser Khani, was only given 47 lashes for his crime….adultery AND the use of drugs.

I ask everyone…do these people not fear Allah??

Nasser himself says in an interview that he learnt the Quran at a young age..did he miss the part about committing adultery?? I think Mr Khani needs to reread the Quran particularly Surah al Baqarah.

Shahla, the accused, said in her defence that her only crime was to love Nasser. If she had dedicated her time and love to Allah instead of a mere human being then not only would she have spent her time wisely but her deeds would bring her closer to paradise!

Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): “If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Quran and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
( Aal-e-Imran, Chapter 3, Verse 31)

I just want to give a lil background to myself and my blog just so you now where I’m going with this……

To start I’ll be turning 24 this year and I am still unmarried!! Shock horror! Well it would be if I was in Pakistan. But Im not, so Im not bothered by it. If anything I prefer it. Im not totally mature enough to handle a husband right now.

Im going back to University in September to do a MSc which Im looking forward to. Im one of the weirdest people as I actually enjoy learning especially sciencey stuff!

I recently completely an important pillar of Islam…Hajj! It was in December 2007 (1428) and I went with my Mum and Dad. So Im a relatively new Hajja and still trying to fulfil my religion. And thats where the problems are. My views kind of clash with my parents which still think that being Pakistanis we should do as they do. lol

That is sooo not me!

Sorry to cut this short BUT I have to go now as my baby nephew needs a cuddle while my sister gives the other one a wash ( her husband has already gone to bed…at 20.34pm….)
